Nov. 3rd, 2013 04:35 amAlexis was very lethargic when I got home from the haunt tonight, and she was crying in distress whenever I wasn't petting her. So I took her to the 24-hour vet, and they diagnosed her with Feline Infectious Peritonitis.
I held her while they gave her the shot to put her to sleep, and now I need to figure out a proper spot to bury her.
I know about the poem about the rainbow bridge and how the pets we love and who love us are waiting on the other side of us, and I understand that it's intended to make people feel better about this sort of thing, and I know that for some people it does. But if you're thinking about posting it in the comments, just don't, ok? I don't want to see that right now.
