What do you mean, he's not a furriner!?!

As you may recall, a number of entertainers and membes of Congress have gotten envelopes containing a white powder that resembled Anthrax since 9/11 - and IIRC it's practically always either a Democrat, and/or someone that has criticised the Bush administration and its policies. They've caught the guy responsible, and I'm shocked! Shocked! To find that it was a conservative American.

I know there are conservatives that are sane, rational people. I just wish sometimes that certain of the more vocal attack dogs on the right would own up to the lunatics that they share a side with, especially when said lunatics put the ideas of people like Ann Coulter into action the way this guy did. I swear, it's like the fundamental difference between the right and left these days is that the left are embarassed by our lunatics, and wish they'd just quietly go away (ask me about PETA sometime if you want to get me started), while an increasing number of people on the right look at theirs, and quietly cheer them on.

Yeah, we've conveniently forgotten the likes of Tim McVeigh etc. in the new age of easily demonized foreign nut jobs. It's a good thing, too. Now it's much easier to spot terrorists because they have turbans and accents.
