I am a professional techmonkey, who in 2004 found myself, like many others of my species, what Vaudevillians would call "Between Engagements." This led to my returning to the same school I had dropped out of almost a decade ago in order to complete my degree (a nicely full-circle kind of move, I must admit.) I have since reentered the IT field, working at a different Big Company where my degree still has almost no bearing upon.

I am, in no particular order:

* Sarcastic
* Opinionated
* A Liberal Democrat (blame Reagan, especially since that "Ketchup is a Vegetable" bullshit is what drove me Leftward to begin with, and Iran/Contra was just one of the stronger flavors of icing on the cake)
* Very rarely able to back down when I know I'm right
* Sometimes one of the huger pains in the ass you'll know as a result of the above
* A survivor of spousal abuse
* A fan of anime, especially subtitled since most dubs are . . . Well, let's just say that I put most dubs of anime right up there with Reagan in my personal estimation, and move on, shall we?
* Deeply desirous of a job in voice-acting in dubbed anime, since I think I could do a better job than most of the "talent" in the Reagan-level dubs
* Too often likely to engage in frighteningly Baroque sentence structures on some of the things I write
* A college graduate - only took twenty years, too!
