I'm too disgusted to add any further commentary of my own, so I'll just quote the article I linked to: "This shit needs to be in the national news. And Palin and McCain need to answer some hard questions about it."

If you read the article that Ms. Bitch Ph.D. quotes, you'll see that while then-Mayor Palin had nothing to say about it, the Sheriff she appointed who disagrees with taxpayer funding of such processes did say that he thought the costs should be paid by the criminals.

Wasilla is the only city in Alaska that I have been able to confirm was charging the victims at the time the law was passed.
