(AKA a capsule review of my latest video obsession)
"Miracles" has become a staple of my Monday nights, and becomes more of a favorite of mine with every episode. It's about a former priest who had worked for the Church to investigate alleged miracles. He kept finding one mundane explanation after another, until his faith was nearly gone. But upon discovering that a young boy whose claimed ability to heal he had been sent to verify could actually do what he was said to - a boy he had seen in a dream before he left to investigate the claims - he finds himself facing not only evidence of the existence of the supernatural, but of an upcoming conflict between good and evil. Possibly the final one.
I need the boxed set of this. Or, more specifically, I need them to release a boxed set, so I can buy it.
DAMN, this week's episode is going to make it hard to fall asleep. Not that I don't consider the lost sleep worth every moment of what I saw, of course. :)
