Go to http://moon.google.com and zoom all the way in. Totally worksafe, and really clever.

...why did the latest iTunes update eat my copy of Quicktime? I ask because unless my cats have managed to crack my password, and decided to wreak havoc in Add/Remove Programs, it was installing your update that caused your movie-playing software to vanish from my system.

We are not amused.

I went to Apple's site, and clicked on the link to install Quicktime. Guess what I got? The iTunes setup program.

We are even less amused now.

Apparently, my choice to block iTunes from infesting my startup programs with qttask.exe is what caused it to not install its bundled version of Quicktime. This time, my spyware blocker just notified me that it had been added, rather than asking me whether I wanted it added, and when I checked, I had Quicktime again.

This just makes me hate qttask.exe all the more, in case theer was any doubt.
