Just read Statesman's little PR puff piece, and I have to respond with the following:

Subject: Victory? I think not!
Dear sir,
I note with no small degree of amusement your attempt at saving face in the wake of last night's debacle. If it is true that merely carrying the fight to the Rogue Isles might be considered a victory, then I suppose congratulations on your "vitory" are in order.
If, however, one defines victory as meeting one's stated goals, then I would argue that it was we who were victorious over you. For all your supposed might, you were unable to stand against the flood of evil that I and my associates unleashed upon your beloved Phalanx, and upon the puling masses of children that Longbow dispatched to support them. While it is true that we suffered some casualties, they were nowhere so grievous, nor so extensive, as those you and your pathetic band of "heroes" suffered at our hands.
Remember this: You may have come to our territory, but you can clearly see that you were conquered. Should you ever attempt another such assault, expect a repeat of the same.
And, my old nemesis, once I have fully regained the strength that my captivity in your stasis cells cost me over the last five decades, then it shall be I who invades your lands. The outcome, however, will only differ from your failure of last night in that this time, I shall find you in time to be the one standing atop your broken form, rather than the one who reached you before I could last night.
KNEEL BEFORE WERTHAM!
