Do not buy Philips digital cameras. Ever.
Feb. 4th, 2006 05:20 pmI bought one this morning, because I was going to a convention where there would be people I wanted pictures of, and I wanted to have digital pictures that I could immediately transfer to my computer once I got home.
First the battery that came with the damn thing overheats, and that erases all the pictures I took. Then when I have retaken as many of the original ones as I can, and taken some others which I really wanted to share, I install the software that came with it and attempt to copy them over from the camera to the computer.
Only to discover that every goddamned picture seems to have been erased. Again.
I wish a word existed that was obscene enough to express my anger.
