Anne Coulter...
Jun. 7th, 2006 06:37 pmWatched the footage of her interview on MSNBC where she was getting taken to task about accusing the 9/11 widows of "enjoying their husbands' deaths." The great Tennessee Williams springs to mind when watching her: "There's a powerful stench of mendacity."
I found it interesting that the host of the interview said that although he agrees with most of what the Republican party stands for, he thought that the way they kept waving the bloody 9/11 shirt at the 2004 convention was disturbing - there may be hope for him yet. Coulter's response? "That's their job."
Yeah, right. It's all well and good when the GOP exploit 9/11 to get people all fearful so that they'll vote for them, but if people who've lost loved ones in the attack speak out, they're bad? Bitch, please.
