Red, White ... and Green

Berlin, 1945
The soldier stood above the unconscious body of his enemy. For years they’d danced their dance of death, each trying to bring the other down, neither ever quite succeeding. As the Third Reich fell, however, the number of places Hitler’s top lieutenant could have hidden dwindled away, until only this one bunker remained. The last of the Nazis’ supermen lay before him, broken, defeated. But just before he could deliver the final blow, the room was flooded in emerald light.
"Steve Rogers of Earth", a voice intoned in his head, "you have the ability to overcome great fear…"
