Breathing. I Would Like To Haz It
Jul. 21st, 2008 08:04 pmAllergy season, AKA "Pretty much every damn day for me", rages onward.
Had a deep cough for the last few days, the kind where you occasionally scare people because it sounds like one or both of your lungs is trying to crawl up your throat, mug a Nazi soldier and steal his motorcycle, like Steve McQueen in The Great Escape, and you know that's not going to turn out well.
I managed to get through most of the day today ok, though. It was only when the end of work was approaching that I staretd back to malfunctionland. Hopefully if I get a Mucinex in me I can make it through this without having to borrow money for a doctor's visit. If nothing else, at least I'm not as bad off as my friend J - he told me earlier that he was dealing with walking pneumonia. I've been there before, and hope never to again.
In case anybody's worried, my symptoms aren't currently bad enough that I need to see anybody; I'm just annoyed at airflow and mucus issues. Hope y'all are all doing ok.
