I remember our first kiss
You don't, of course;
What you have and haven't told me proves that,
But I do.

Even now, years later,
All I have to do is close my eyes
And think back,
And the pressure of your lips is there again
Against mine,
Every bit of skin and time
Burning into me,
Etching "I am yours" into the glass of my heart

But even though you never remembered,
I still carry enough memory for the both of us.
