Some people wonder why a grown (or at least aging) man would still read comics. This, right here? That's why. Sturgeon's Law may apply to them (and he may even be lowballing it in this genre's case), but every so often they manage to publish something not just good, but profound and even beautiful. This is one of those.
It's often said that Superman's true power is the power to inspire others. All-Star Superman #10, where this came from, is one of the best examples of him being exactly that.
It's never as bad as it seems. You're much stronger than you think you are. Trust me.
