Blah. C and her boyfriend decided that they wanted to turn their relationship monogamous, and D is in a relationship (hasn't said anything about it being exclusive or not, but you can understand why I might find this irritating, in light of what happened with C.

On the other hand, it turns out that the guy K was talking to on Wednesday doesn't appear to be more than just a friend. This is a hopeful sign, especially because of her not saying "no" when I asked her to dinner after tonight's show ends last night. She told me that a friend might be coming to see the play tonight when I asked, to which I replied "That would be a maybe, then." Got a smile. And the friend of mine who hooked me up with the crew position told me that when she told K "There are some really cute single guys in the tech crew," K agreed with her.

Just to clarify that a bit, there are a grand total of five tech people on this show, with three of them being men. Of the other two men on crew, one is involved with one of the actresses, and the other is living with somebody. So I would think that I have cause to hope for good things where K is concerned. :)

OMIGHAD!!!

I FINALLY found the website for the company that made the Discworld videos! I can finally buy them!

Excuse me while I go spend the bonus money that was earmarked for a washer and dryer... ;)

I love pocket watches. So when I found this one, I decided that this is what I want for my birthday.

Must start nagging parents...

Adding my lienholder to my auto insurance policy seemed like it was going to be such an easy thing...

First, they couldn't add them unless I could give them a mailing address to go along with it (which, since my previous insurance companies had never needed anything more than the name from me before, was a wee bit of a pain.)

Then when I gave them the name and address, and asked to be faxed a copy as soon as they'd updated things, no fax ever showed up.

Third try was the charm on getting it faxed to me, but when I got it they only had the address, rather than the name and address of the lienholder, and they were designated as "Leasing Company" instead.

But thank all the gods that ever were, I got a good CS rep on my fourth try, who corrected everything and faxed me the updated stuff immediately upon making sure that it was all good and correct.

But overall, I rate this company a 3 out of 10. When the time comes to renew my policy, I'll going to be doing some serious looking for other providers.

After a discussion in the comments section of Sheeplass' journal, I am inspired to ask the following question:

When you shower or take a bath, how hot do you like the water to get? Discuss.
